The Switzerland Wine School now delivers WSET wine Awards and training courses in Geneva!, the startup aiming at challenging the wine consumption status quo, prides itself in taking every single of its clients to the next wine knowledge level. With the creation in late 2016 of the Switzerland Wine School in Geneva, Switzerland, offers every wine professional and enthusiast the possibility to explore the diversity of wines produced all over the world and improve their tasting technique.

The Switzerland Wine School has just been awarded the WSET Approved Program Provider and is from nowadays hosting sessions of the WSET Level 2 and WSET Level 3:

  • WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits: English only, 16 hour class split over 2 days from 8am to 5pm, 1 hour examination, certificate label and pin, study on main international grapes and wine regions, production methods, service and storage, 50 wines from all around the world to taste (17 white, 3 rosé, 20 red, 4 sparkling, 3 fortified, 3 sweet) & 6 spirits to taste (Rum, Vodka, Gin, Tequila, Cognac, Whisky)
  • WSET Level 3 Award in Wines: English only, 40 hour class split over 5 days from 8am to 5pm, 2.5 hour examination, certificate label and pin, study on viticulture, vinification, all main international grapes and wine regions, law and economics, 80 wines from all around the world to taste (22 white, 4 rosé, 38 red, 5 sparkling, 5 fortified, 6 sweet) 

WSET Level 3 course Switzerland

Check the course content and dates on the Switzerland Wine School website. In case you are an absolute beginner with wine, the Switzerland Wine School is scheduling weekday evening and Saturday all-day classes on Geneva and Swiss wines:

  • Wines of Geneva Certificate: Thursdays from 7pm to 10pm,  English or French, study on local terroir, indigenous grapes, vintage quality, local food & wine pairings, 8 geneva wines to taste (3 white, 5 red)
  • Wines of Switzerland Certificate: Saturdays from 10am to 5pm,  English or French, study on history and economy, swiss terroirs, indigenous grapes, wine specialties of the main cantons, 16 swiss wines to taste (2 sparkling, 4 white, 2 rosé, 6 red, 2 sweet)
